Writing Platform Indecision

I always wanted to write. I know the benefits of writing: it improves your thinking skills or helps you to organize your thoughts better. Yet, I’ve always come across the multiple options on where to host my writing.

I went to these in the following order:

This indecision was probably based on my eagerness to have everything right. Everything in its right place.

The issue is, I didn’t start at all!

The writing desire was always there, but because i didn’t have the “best tools at hand” i just didn’t do anything. Those feelings come from the fear of failing or making mistakes.

But mistakes will be made. Writing will suck at first. Maybe it will suck forever. But you’re writing.

So what I’m doing know is to just host my writing in my own place. I won’t care about what engagement I drive, what comments I expect for people, likes, nothing! Just write.

Probably a soul will stumble to my site, and might benefit from this writing. That’s great, but not a great incentive. At least for me.

I guess if somebody asked me about how to start writing, like anybody says, the best advice is to just do it. And I might add: just for yourself.
